Company
Sierra-Media was an invention of passion and necessity. Founder Daniel Cardenas saw a need for a more dynamic interaction between corporations and customers. In his passion for video production, he found a way to serve both company and client with an avenue of communication that was growing fast. Today, video rules the web, and a company without a dynamic video presence is lagging behind. At Sierra-Media, we create business marketing videos to serve the high-tech and manufacturing industries in more effectively communicating both internally, with employees and management, and externally, with channel partners and end-users. In a fast-paced, tech-savvy, short-attention-span world, video is the only medium dynamic enough to keep up, and Sierra-Media can get you into the race.
Our Team
Daniel A. Cardenas – Creative Director/Founder e.mail: dcardenas(at)sierra-media.com

Daniel Cardenas began his career in 1981 after graduating with a BA in Film Production from California State University at Long Beach, and with further Cinema Extension studies at USC and UCLA. This early training coupled with years of experience give him the vision and ability to take any project from concept through creation. His work has taken him around the globe, from the arctic tundra to the islands of Fiji, and run the gamut from underground music videos to corporate videos for Fortune 500 companies like Microsoft, Fluke and Intermec and Intel. This breadth of experience allows Daniel to create unique, customized media experiences for a truly diverse clientele. Toward that end, in 1987, he founded Sierra Media – offering expertise in all aspects of production, including writing, directing, production, editing, animation and motion graphics. For over twenty years, he has enjoyed providing the value and personal attention necessary to build successful and rewarding business relationships.
Steven Bradford – Director of Photography e.mail:sbradford(at)sierra-media.com

Steven Bradford has been sounding out the edges of new media boundaries since graduating with a traditional degree in film production from the University of Southern California. In the mid 1980s he produced touch screen video sequences for a pioneering e-commerce technology company and invented a system for mass producing personalized home videos starring a Mattel toy character. Since then he has produced videodiscs for NASA, filmed video game sequences for Northrop and Sierra Online; taped neurosurgery, the rock band KISS, and the Space Shuttle in 3D; shot one extremely low budget 35mm feature—along with way way too many talking heads and close-ups of computer screens. From 2004 through 2007 Steven was the director of the School of Film and Visual Effects at Collins College in Phoenix, AZ, and now teaches at Seattle Film Institute. He currently spends his time forgetting obsolete technologies (linotype, punchcards, quad tape operator) so he can learn more (CMS websites, web video).
